Jamie Santos

Tattoo artist since 2003 and life time traditional media artist. After moving to Bangor, Maine to learn under Ed Sheffer of Diversified Ink, Jamie worked at Scarab Body Arts in Syracuse for seven years while apprenticing artist Sean Morgan with fellow colleague Nik Moore. A summer after running the successful “Deck the Halls” civic art show at the SaltQuarters during the holiday season she moved to work with the very talented artists of Tymeless Tattoo in Baldwinsville owned by Kyle Proia. She has guest spot in studios from NYC to California and many states inbetween.

Beyond tattooing, arts advocacy is her passion. She loves uplifting and bringing people together in civic art shows when possible. She has worked with galleries such as Point of Contact, SaltQuarters, The Everson Museum, Apostrophe’s, The Gear factory, as well as businesses such as Beer Belly Deli, Wildflowers Armory, and Kasai Ramen to include local artists for free exposure. The “Cathedral Collective” encompasses this and is run as an underground CNY Local arts collective.

Jamie’s first passion is art itself, she is an avid drawer, freelance illustrator, portrait artist, painter and has shown work throughout Central New York and as far as Michigan. She is continually working on her portfolio and collection to further herself and art vision.
